A wave of lapis lazuli stones set inside a sterling silver frame comes to life with a hand engraved background of swirling clouds. Lapis and sterling were pinned into place in a creative, spur of the moment, process. Each step determined the next and ultimately the design, until the final image came into being. The background was VanGogh inspired, with the engraved lines coming to life with the blackened background.
