Born and raised in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, Ree Gallagher was introduced to the fine art of jewelry making while studying abroad in Florence, Italy.  Returning to St. Lawrence University, Ree completed her B.A. in studio arts.  She continued on to the Savannah College of Art and Design, earning her M.F.A. in Metals and Jewelry.  Upon completion of her degree, she relocated to New York City to design jewelry and accessories.  Her one-of-a-kind jewelry was chosen for Selection: Friedrich Becker Prize Exhibition, in Zollverein, Germany and has also been exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Savannah, Georgia.  Her limited production work has been featured at the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum: History of Aluminum Exhibition, Art Institute of Chicago, the New Museum of Contemporary Art, Fallingwater, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, MAD, Clark Art Institute, Bruce Museum, New Orlean's Ogden Museum, as well as various other museum stores and boutiques across the country.  Her line of jewelry made from vintage materials was featured at Urban Outfitters stores nationwide.
